Plant a Tree - Protect a Tree

As part of our commitment to the environment we have a long term aim to become a carbon neutral organisation. In fact, Schools Finance Direct wants to be Carbon Negative. We have worked proactively to track and reduce the carbon footprint of our business at source and to go further we are offsetting through a carbon offset programme.

To help achieve our aims we are supporting Carbon Footprint's UK Tree Planting initiative. Carbon Footprint plant trees in school locations and other sites which provide wildlife habitats and support biodiversity thereby enhancing the natural UK landscape and offsetting CO2 emissions.

For every tree planted 1 tonne of carbon is also saved in the Brazilian Amazon via Carbon Footprint's (Verified Carbon Standard) avoided deforestation programme. In the first phase of our plans, we have offset 10 Tonnes of CO2 emissions
